This is how my son sleeps. The blanket draped so gently over his face is his most favorite thing in the world. At first we were hesitant to let him sleep with it, but it seemed to help soothe him. Could it be the little tags that he loves to suck on, or the smell of the fabric as he clings to it, or the fact that he uses it to block out any and all light like a vampire.
Every night we have to go into his room to remove the blanket from his face after he's fallen asleep. Sometimes we have to wrestle it from his little fingers as he desperately tries to pull it back up over his face.
I'm seeing a flash forward of Caleb at 16 with blankets over his bedroom windows creating a cave like atmosphere. The funny thing is this is exactly how I sleep.
To all of Caleb's grandparents, aunts and uncles we know what your thinking and don't worry we won't let him suffocate.

Spring Fever
We all have thoroughly been enjoying the good weather. Nigel and I have been taking Caleb on lots of walks. He continues to amaze us everyday. He is growing and is more and more interested in his surroundings. We're enjoying him every day.
